Ponoka Soccer is run by volunteer coaches. These coaches are the backbone of our organization and without them, there would be no soccer program in Ponoka. We also value, above all else, the safety of our children. As such, all interested parties who want to be involved in our House League or Competitive/Traveling League soccer teams as coaches, parent captains or team managers, are required by Alberta Soccer Association, Central Alberta Soccer Association and Ponoka Minor Soccer Association to provide a current Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable Sector check.
If you require a record check, we are happy to povide you with a volunteer letter you can take to the local RCMP detachment. To recieve this letter of authorization, plase contact our Secretary by email.
All coaches are required to update their record check every two years.
